I'm definitely NOT your knight in shining armor and don't believe in them anymore than I believe in the Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy.
But would you be willing to move to New Mexico to find one? I could fix you up with my brother.

He spent the night in the rain and his armor was bad armor and it rusted and now it's stuck together and he can't move. You are going to have to rescue him. He's under the willow tree down by the highway.

your knight perhaps doesn't even look like a knight from what people draw from fairy tales.
Although he has felt the sting of a thousand arrows,bruised by sword,and dagger all materially unreal yet the feelings the same for all of this could be his crushed hopes for a maiden not so much a princess,and each time he tried it was only he who loved,all unrequited were his romantic endeavors,till now his soul his person is unlikely to appear as you might like.
he may have traveled the upper road and the lower ones too,til now even he doth not himself know.

He's moved and has left no forwarding address. Not trying to be a crack@zz but, seriously, where have the decent men gone?? As far as part 2 of your question, there are no telltale signs as to if this person would be right for you. Just my own personal experience,opinion.

you'll know he's your knight in shining armor by placing a bunch of refrigerator magnets on him. if they stick, it's real. if they fall off, he's a fake in aluminum foil.
