Let's see...It depends on the who he/she murdered. A child? An abusive partner? Self-defense? Psycho serial killer? The same with the rapist. Statutory rape? Serial rapist? Rapes children or old ladies?

I'd pick someone who murderers in self defense over someone who rapes old ladies.

OR

I'd pick someone convicted of statutory rape over a serial killer who eats the victims brains and makes lampshades out of their skin.

Murderer I guess....If I HAD to choose. At least there would be some hope against hope that maybe, just maybe they murdered in self defense or by accident. Rapist makes their victim suffer for the rest of their life. Both are bad.

Assuming that both crimes are intentional (not that you can accidentally rape someone, but whatever), I guess the rapist since rape isn't an offense that get's the death penalty on it's own. At least not in the US. But after I saved the rapists life, his/her butt would still be hauled off to jail.

I will save both the lives (that of the Murderer and that of the rapist) BUT I will make their lives unbearable to live.

no one's life is in my hands because I am not GOD. but i think people can agree that they would debate over forgiving a murderer more than a rapist, because there really aren't any reasonable explantions for raping someone. Murder can be self defense, but what can rape be, besides wrong?

If forced, I guess I would pick the murderer because I feel that they can be rehabilitated....rapist are nothing more than sex criminals and studies have shown that there is no changing their behaviour.

But I am not a judge and it really shouldn't be my decision...

The rapist, so that he must serve out a life sentence in prison - in general population - with all the other inmates knowing what he's in for.

Oh god...Obviously, I wouldn't save either, but if I had to, I'd save the Rapist.

If someone murdered a close girlfriend of mine, I would rather of them raped her and that she be scarred for life, than have her life taken away.
