One of my guy friends is 23 and Ive known him almost a year and this christmas I want to get him a present but I have no clue what to get him.
Hes a dj at a radio station, he likes wine, he likes sushi, hes a pretty cultured guy. I want him to really like my gift and for it to say I really thought about you when I picked this out.
Any ideas?

get him a gift card to his favorite sushi place. you know him better than any of us... so really look into what he enjoys doing on his free time. even taking him out to a movie or out to dinner is nice. its not a present wrapped up, but its more personal, and you guys can actually sit and talk too.

How about two tickets to see a group he likes? Or take him to a wine tasting? What about a one-night cooking class, learning to make some fun-to-eat delicacy? (Some cities even have sushi-making lessons.) Even if the event doesn't take place for a couple of months, you'll have it to look forward to.

The best, most thoughtful gifts for people are books. Try getting him a sushi cookbook, or a rolling stones coffee table book. Maybe you could find a great album (record) that's vintage.

What about a nice sushi set? With chopsticks, a chopstick rest and some small plates. There are also some really beautiful unique chopstick sets, hand painted etc.....

If he spins then buy him some vinyls, if you're at his place look at his alcohol stash and that should give you some incite into what to buy him wine wise. If he really likes his car you could buy him some nice car upkeep/cleaning products.

a gift card or cash, would be great present because you never can go wrong with a gift card or cash :) or you can always ask he what he want for christmas and get him that :)
