I am currently doing research on authors - Jerry Spinelli being one of them. I would like to know some jobs Jerry Spinelli previously had, opinions on any job or jobs being unusual, and opinions on how or why you think some job or jobs may or may not have influence Jerry Spinelli's work. Any answers are greatly appreciated. I have a deadline on Monday, December 8, 2007, so please answer as soon as possible. I would also like some resources on Jerry Spinelli.

My deadline is not Monday anymore. Now it is Thursday, a better day for me to get my resources. I also need a few jobs that Jerry Spinelli got hired for. The only jobs I know of him is being an author

I had a chance to meet him and have him autograph my copy of Star Girl.
He started writing at a very early age (still in high school). I don't know much about his previous jobs (I know he wanted to be a baseball player and a cowboy when he was younger). Much of the info he got from his own children, his wife (a children's book author), and everyday experiences.
