Hey Maya M,
I found the Ocean in late May. I thought that Helio was too new of a company for me to be a gunnies pig. I liked all the Ocean for what it was said to be able to do. I looked at other phones trying to offer the same features, but falling short. I gave up on a new phone for the time. In October I came across a guy in the mall that had one. I asked him about his experience with it, he had had the phone for 3 weeks and liked it but did state a few flaws. I researched the phone for most of October and the first week of November. The best resource I found is HelioCity http://www.heliocity.net/ ! You can goto the forum and read the good the bad and the uggly. Ask questions and get the most informed answers from people that have had the phones for some time. I did order mine in early November from FinaWireless http://www.finawireless.com/ The cheapest price but dependable service also. I also signed up for the $99.00 unlimited plan. Having the Phone for almost a month now I could not think of a better phone for me...
The flaws:
* People Hate me! I have a cool device, lol and they can't stand it.... "Oh my phone does this" "Can your Phone do this" "Bet you pay alot"
Oh the Oceans Flaws......right
* Sound Volumes are low.
* Waiting on Updates (none so far and hope some will come)
* Online downloads do go down from time to time but not long.
* Some bluetooth devices do not work with this device.
* The first bill is like a double bill. (you just need to know to read about the billing, and the cycle)
* The camera isn't really that great
The good things:
* I have the best device around! And People Hate Its True...
Okay the Phone
* It uses the 3G network (FAST internet connection in my area)
* Service is good. (No dropped calls, always a signal (even if it is a roaming))
* No roaming charges :)
* On my plan Talk all day and night no matter when, surf the internet, Myspace friendly, All the major email and messenger providers. IM and Text covered. Youtube videos.
* Screen is great, very clear, Games look great.
* The GPS google maps work great.
* Buddy Beacon works I did test with a fellow Helio user over the weekend.
It has flaws just as anything, the service provider is going to be just like any other also. Could it be better, yes! Could it be worse, YES! If the Ocean can do what you need or think you might like to have, then it could be the device for you.
I'm sorry I was and am only one sided, but I know as you research you too will see how good the Oean is.

Verizon is a plenty greater advantageous helpful provider provider. Helio isnt powerful. in any appreciate. i can continuously assume good, immediately, and powerful education from verizon. The keyboard on the LG Voyager Is a fashion greater advantageous helpful keyboard then the helio oceans twin slider. The digital digital camera on the helio is a 2.0 megapixel, and so is the voyager. As i discussed verizon has greater advantageous helpful provider in arizona. The cooler telephone is the voyager becasue it has a touchscreen, alongside with each and each and each thing the helio can doo. The helio ocean is smaller, yet lacks in valuable components the bigger voyager has. The voyager is slimmer then the helio, even if the Helio is shorter. the telephone it extremely is greater advantageous customizable would desire to would desire to tie. i'd desire to would desire to declare to pass with the Voyager.

I have the Voyager, and I can personally say that it is the best phone I've ever had. Sure, it has a few problems (but honestly, what new phone doesn't?) I got mine for $299.99 (but if you order it, order it online from Verizon). It saves you the cost of activation fees and stuff, plus you get an online discount. Here is a link that helped me decide to get the Voyager...
