I hated it, and as a result only saw it one time which is abnormal because I am a huge Alien Fan! I am re-exited about AVP Requiem!

I like it enough to have watched it at least a dozen times by now. It's beautifully made and fits into those series quite well. "Predator II" is the weak one of the group. "AVP" is a fascinating movie that shows that human beings and Predators could side with each other. "Predator" had hinted at the alien's curiosity about human behavior.
I'm curious as to what direction "Requiem" will take this idea or if they'll forget about what happened in "AVP".
I've been a science fiction fan since the Fifties, and I like "Alien vs. Predator" very much. I'll continue to watch it when it is shown. If I was sensible, I'd finally videotape it.

I believe AVP was the movie that made me decide that I was never letting my friend pick what movie we went to see again.
Worse than I imagined. Better than Alien 4, though.

i didnt like predator or the alien movies but AVP was pretty sweet i plan on seeing the new one

Well, it has nothing to do with the original Alien saga, but it has great FXs and a decent plot so it's a good movie to me.

Yeah I liked it
with movies like that, the only way to really like it is to understand before you see it is that it will NEVER hold up to how much you like the originals, because the general concept is really lame and so Hollywoodish that it is meant to just be a good time; not fine cinematic fare.
Does that make sense?

The Unrated version was better than the PG-13 version.

yeah, AVP suck. i shouldn't be excited for AVPR, yet i still have a certain urge to see it.
