Hate it, if i listen to Wizard one more ***** time then i will choke. Why can't we have traditional carols, at least they are pleasant on the ear.

It depends on what is being played. It generally tends to be the same old hits, but there is some good stuff:
Stop The Cavalry by Jonah Loiuse, Stay Another Day by East 17.
The best I have heard is A Fantasia On Christmas Carols by Ralph Vaughan Williams. Brilliant! Also, some of the Kings College Choir music can be good. It's just the blond mop tops the choir have, making them look like the Midwich Cuckoos Village of the Damned Choral Society.

Look, it only comes once a year and there's such a variety, I hear at least 4 a week that I've never heard before because there's a station in St. Louis that plays continuous holiday music from the day after Thanksgiving through Christmas Day. I have it on in my car all of the time and my kitchen radio stays on all day so that when we go in there we can hear it and I can hear it while I'm baking. To those who say they hear the same ones over and over, just listen to a top 40 station and count how many times a day you hear the same song. Am I right? It'll be over all too soon and everyone will be wishing it hadn't gone so fast so enjoy it while we can. My answer? Love it!

Our house loves it.
1st December we out the tree up and start playing Mariah Carey Christmas Cd. (Hubby likes her and it is now an ingrained tradition). Then the rest follow for the rest of the month.
On the whole we find that any music relaxs you or can change your mood. Christmas music is no different. It is usually happy music filled with promise and hope something we could all do with a little more in our lives. Everyone can usually remember a happy memory from their past which stems from a christmas they had.
Merry Christmas xx

I truly love Christmas music. This is the one time of the year that you get to listen to it, and it just makes me happier for some strange reason.

It's not the music itself, it's the fact that stores play the same 5 songs non-stop from the day after Halloween until the day after Christmas.

Cheering and singing the X'mas carols
In honouring and worshiping God.
For the liberation of Freedom.
For the good of mankind.
With the creation of peace on earth good will to men from after world war two as Thanks giving for that Freedom.
Luke 8.10, 17

I hate it.
It's the same bloody songs over and over and over again from SEPTEMBER onwards.
I am not kidding I walked into Macro in September on a sunny warm day wearing my shorts and there was an inflatable snowman in the car park on sale !
I am so sick and tired of WIZZARD, SLADE, SHAKIN' STEVENS and CLIFF BLOODY RICHARD!!
