Passionate Love
Passionate Kiss
by Jim Morton
Oh, wow
what did I know
I’ve seen the lovers
they come and they go
but I never dreamt of a moment like this
you caught me off guard with your passionate kiss
Oh, no
how could it be
when I wasn’t looking
you blindsided me
never suspecting of something amiss
struck from behind by your passionate kiss
Just when I thought
it was all black and white
you brought a rainbow
to light up the night
planning an evening
I hope will consist
of snuggles with you
and your passionate kiss
Oh, dear
what can I do
I’ve grown addicted
from out of the blue
only in heaven could something exist
to equal the love in your passionate kiss

Heart-broken/grief poems
Never Alone
I recently lost a woman that raised me, through actions and her loving guidance, from birth. She showed me how to love others, consider their feelings, and to always have pride in myself and know that I am loved.
I will miss her greatly, but God needed another angel, and she already has the experience from her years here - guiding and loving all, from her closest family to a person she might be waiting in line with at the grocery store.
Everything I do, everything I accomplish, I do with her in my mind and in my heart.

Try Elizabeth Barrett Browning's "Sonnets from the Portuguese" - definitely the class in the field, and there is a movie with the back story.

"The Kiss" "I hoped that he would love me, And he has kissed my mouth, But I am like a stricken bird That cannot reach the south. For though I know he loves me, To-night my heart is sad; His kiss was not so wonderful As all the dreams I had." Sara Teasdale "Reluctance" "Out through the fields and the woods And over the walls I have wended; I have climbed the hills of view And looked at the world and descended; I have come by the highway home, And lo, it is ended. The leaves are all dead on the ground, Save those that the oak is keeping To ravel them one by one And let them go scraping and creeping Out over the crusted snow, When others are sleeping. And the dead leaves lie huddled and still, No longer blown hither and thither; The last lone aster is gone; The flowers of the witch-hazel wither; The heart is still aching to seek, But the feet question 'Whither?' Ah, when to the heart of man Was it ever less than a treason To go with the drift of things, To yield with a grace to reason, And bow and accept the end Of a love or a season?" Robert Frost "Time does not bring relief" "Time does not bring relief; you all have lied Who told me time would ease me of my pain! I miss him in the weeping of the rain; I want him at the shrinking of the tide; The old snows melt from every mountain-side, And last year's leaves are smoke in every lane; But last year's bitter loving must remain Heaped on my heart, and my old thoughts abide. There are a hundred places where I fear To go - so with his memory they brim. And entering with relief some quiet place Where never fell his foot or shone his face I say, 'There is no memory of him here!' And so stand stricken, so remembering him." Edna St Vincent Millay (1892 -1950) "Hope in You" Cute love poems by Cheryl "For so long I have hidden away my heart But something happens when I hear your voice Feelings and wants come rushing back My heart taking over in this I have no choice So many times have I been given false hope And for once I want to have it be true To throw caution fully to the wind Only wanting to believe souly in you To have the smiles and the laughs No looking back on the moments only to cry To keep you in my heart forever And not having to ask the question why So now I am gunna give it my all Close my eyes and see the world through yours Let my heart and your hand be my guide No more secrets, no more closed doors." "Cold Silence" Cute poems by Broken "With out a word was how you left the silence kills my soul cold from the hurt my heart will stay but my love for you I'll never let go so I'll die with hope of thinking you'll come back but love was everything we ever lacked Goodbye was what you could have at lest said or maybe I'm just not worth those words or was it fear of seeing tears well if so i hope you know they fall in the shadow of my soul were my conscience calls to your name Words my moth can never say come to mind I'd tell you if you were mine In my gallery are pictures of you you'll find in my heart were dreams are only dreams made to never come true but I'll always be dreaming dreaming of you because hun it's you the one i plead for the one i bleed for the one i need to hold."
