My blower used to work... just when it wanted to. I took it to the shop a few times. Each time it (the heater) wanted to work less and less until it wouldn't work at all. I had it checked out all the way to the switch and control panel and everything before the switch worked. I tried other switches from a junk yard (several of them). Is there a way to just by-pass all of this headache and shivering and just put a toggle switch on it or something. Might anyone know where I can find some info on a project like this. PLEASE, it's so cold outside!!!
Thanks

Have you tried to replace the heater fan resister pack? All power runs through it before getting to the fan.

If youve checked for 12volts from switch to heater then its the blower speed resistor or the blower motor itself. Also check earth to the heater

i'd first replace the thermostat. It sounds to me which you the two have a defective one or the incorrect temp of a thermostat. 2d if that would not sparkling up the project then the 2d element to benefit is to make helpful each and all of the fins are in good difficulty interior the water pump. meaning you may desire to do away with it and look in component the pump on the fins. If a million or greater of the fins are broken or worn replace it. heck you may get a sparkling pump for decrease than $50

Look on the firewall for a black and orange wire. Black is ground, orange is pos. Just put a toggle switch someplace.
