Kids don't have that idea yet, well i dont think so...
but good point!
All i think of santa is that he's fat, loves to call women "Ho(es)" which is pretty offensive and he loves to munch up cookies and drink up milk...

That is more of the image that was put forth after St. Nicholas became a media Icon.
There is a further story behind jolly old St. Nicholas.
He did many secretive gifts intended to help people. One instance is when a man owed somebody money and could not pay, and his daughter was to be taken as a slave, St. Nicholas dropped money that was donated to the church down the chimney for the man to find in the morning. That is roughly where the Santa myth began.

SANTA IS A BIG FAT LOOSER HEAD! OH, AND HE'S ALSO A BIGOT! What about all those poor and starving Jewish kids he flies by without even a second glance. What about all those Muslim, Buddhist, and Hindu children as well? Even though they pray to Santa and beg him to bring them toys and what not, he totally ignores their urgent requests! All he does is fly by with a,"Ho-Ho-Ho.....you stupid little undesirables!" Hell, I remember when I was a kid and he gave me a tainted package of Slim-Jim's......I didn't get off the pot for days, man! So, at that, what do I think of Santa? See the above mentioned!! Stupid Santa.

first of all (you prob. wont believe this) but I never lie. So when my 9 year old came to me and ask if he was real... my heart sank in my chest. I didn't want to ruin Christmas for her and her six year old sister - and its sad that so many kids that age DONT believe - but i couldn't lie to her... so i said what i believe to be true which is -- "Santa clause" isn't a person... its a spirit - that some people have and some don't. "HE" represents the magic that every crisp Christmas brings. Its not about a fat man in a suite its about the majestic imagery it paints in the young and young at heart. Well, that made them glow !! even more so than the thought of jolly st. nick

Santa isn't real, so every thing you said is blah. Santa is something more than just the jolly guy with rosy cheeks, and a stomach like a bowl full of jello. Santa clause is all the GOOD in the world.

what child looks at Santa like that. most kids stop believing by age 10 if kids don't know about it then they won't think of it as bad every child deserves to be able to believe in Santa when they are young

I think that Santa is good for little children. They are not thinking about the fact that he's committing any crimes...they are thinking of him as the magical man who brings presents to children all over the world.
The tough part is when the child finds out that Santa isn't what they thought...I found out from friends...I was devastated...yet, afraid to tell my parents I knew...

Just let Santa be....it's just a part of childhood! Children enjoy the holidays especially Christmas time. I know that the meaning of Christmas is about the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ and we should let our children know the true meaning. It is ok to let our children have some fun with Christmas as well.

Oh come on! The "idea" of Santa is the spirit of Christmas. And, he did exsit. i am not saying he was the bag totting, sleigh riding kind of guy, but he did exsit and he gave to the poor!
Why do people have to be so damn idiodic all the time! Look at it for what it is...Kindness, love and celebrating the birth of Jesus!
Keep Christ in Christmas! Merry Christmas all!
