Very simply, I would hold them to their oath of office, that is defending the constitution, and defending the country against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

That includes the 10th Amendment which states the government cannot purposely lie to the people. If this were followed, we'd have probably had 20 Presidents since 1980! And these Straussian fools we have destroying our country right now would have been out on their ear long ago.

Make It A Direct Democracy.

"Governments Are Instituted Among Men, Deriving Their Just Powers From The Consent Of The Governed, That Whenever Any Form Of Government Becomes Destructive Of These Ends,It Is The RIGHT Of The PEOPLE To Alter Or To Abolish It, And To Institute New Government!"

I'd include term limits for Representatives and Senators, and get rid of their lifetime pensions. They'd have to earn a living like everyone else.

The President would get a pension after leaving office, but while serving he'd get minimum wage. His pension would be voted on by the people, depending on how good a job he did.

Get rid of the Electoral College, we don't need it anymore.

Hold regional primaries on the same day, instead of the current mishmash, and everyone trying to be "first".

I would put God back in His rightful place in our government....like He was prior to the 1960s when we began taking God out of governmental affairs. (This would still provide for religious freedom of course, just as it did back then)
