Hi I am thinking of getting a Macbook even though I am a Windows user. What is a Macbook used for and is it good for work, buisness, technology,etc.? Lastly would you reccomend me buying a Macbook.

It's used for everything a Windows is used for except it does it in a more logical manner. For example, I find the menus and the whole HD to be set up more logically. Also, the graphics and the user interface are of a much higher quality. A trend I've noticed in Mac vs. Windows use is that in science Macs are much more prevalent. I would definitely recommend getting a Mac. I'm running on an iBook, but I still wouldn't trade it for multiple Windows-running computers unless I could trade them for a Mac.

The new Macbook Pro Core2 Duo is probably the smoothest fastest and best computer you have ever used.

great computer for everything except games.

Buy one, I bought one and I love it!
