They (not all of them), struggle and try hard all their lives even when they want to give up, for what? The chance that one day out of a million could be kind of good? I don't know why more people don't give up, or at least consider it strongly?

When every other day is just mediocre, it makes that one good day a fantastic day....and then you look forward to the next one. Keep that chin up, Zing!

One day out of a million be good? Just what do you consider good? Winning the powerball? Talk to someone who's beat cancer and I bet they'll tell you that just being able to get up in the morning constitutes a good day. And give up? Do you mean suicide or just laying around like a bum or lazy brother-in-law? You sound like you have clinical depression. Do yourself a favor and see a doctor, if you are it's amazing how much difference two pills a day make.

People work hard to better their lives and for a sense of accomplishment. Everyone feels better when they have mastered a task that appeared very difficult. The more things that you do right on a regular basis, the better you get at doing things right. Haven't you ever wondered why some things are so easy for certain people and extremely difficult for others? Practice makes perfect. By giving up you don't learn anything, you don't get any better at anything, and you get no sense of accomplishment.

think about this.
you ever notice how time flies by just as fast when you're not having fun as when you are? you aren't still sitting in that one awful day at work, or that time your pet died. it's done and over, and you've moved on. what people don't remember most is the happier times in life that make us feel alive, that make us feel happy. bad things are easier to remember than happy ones because they are more severe.
if you go through life one step at a time and take things as they go anyways, why not make the best of things?
and i agree, hun, you should see a doctor. things will look up soon, i promise. :]

First off I feel you are comparing your life to others who live differently from you. It may not be such a struggle as you think.
It is a good thing to have a good outlook on things or hope for the future.
