"Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith but to become dominant". "The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth," -Omar Ahmad (CAIR founder)

The ACLU started out as a Communist organization. Frankly, I don't see a difference in how they are now and the way they were when they started,
They are against any organized religion, they take any individual freedom that they don't like to the Supreme court and set precedence in law.
How they do this is beyond me, considering they aren't any part of government.
If anyone is interested, there is a book called "The ACLU vs America", by Alan Sears and Craig Osten. It will wake you up as to how this organization is actually helping to destroy America.

The ACLU is a cowardly organization. They will take sides with the most despicable people in our society (murderers, rapists, child molesters) and the ACLU feels like they are standing up for something and making a difference.

But when a real threat comes to America, the ACLU is silent. ACLU knows if they say anything against Muslim groups or terrorists, they (ACLU) will be squarely in the cross hairs of radical Islamic groups. This shows that when there is a REAL need for groups to stand up for free speech, and a real danger ... ACLU are quislings and cowards.

Not sure what the ACLU has to do with that other than my assumption of your hatred toward them, as if they support that. The ACLU exists to support the bill of rights whether or not the issue is popular. Freedom is about tolerance of one another as much as it is expression of dissent toward each other and our government. I never could understand why there are those who loathe an organization devoted to protecting that. As for the quotes, those are the ramblings of an irrelevant zealot, they are a dime a dozen.

Without evidence he said this, I do not believe it. The first link states that he denies saying this. The journalist who reported on him saying this stands by her story, but her is her tape of it? One would think in the lawsuit happy society we live in any reputable journalist would record and keep said recordings of all interviews especially when something so inflammatory was said.

How is this a matter for the ACLU? As of yet no one has had their civil liberties violated by the alleged statement.

The ACLU, like all liberal, American-hating organizations, are scared to death of Islam. They would not dare speak out against Muslims for fear of getting their heads cut off. Christians, on the other hand, are fair-game because they allow for differences of opinion and even live by creeds such as "love your neighbor as yourself" and "love your enemy." The ACLU even supports NAMBLA, a child-molesting organization. Therefore, the ACLU is composed of a bunch of sick cowards.

Protecting the Bill of Rights and the Constitution, where are you? Why do you keep attacking an organization whose sole purpose is to protect the Bill of Rights and our Civil Liberties?

So much for religious tolerance by the Muslims!

Yep, brother, civil liberties should be guarded against, and those who defend unpopular speech from the tyranny of the majority should be abhorred. You and the fundamentalist Muslims have something in common, imagine that!
