I sent money from my paypal to my bank account and in my paypal it says the status is completed, but when i log into my bank account online and check my balance it did not add the money!!!!!!?????/ WHY??

It said the the status was completed on dec 6, 2007, which was a thursday! and it is still not up

I have a question that kind of goes with the original question here.
What happens to my money when it leaves my paypal account , but before it is in my account?
Someone has to have it??
Are they collecting interest on it like in the old days when there was a 2 week holding period on checks?
(Add up thousands of transfers each day, and thats a lot of money to collect a couple days interest on)
Just where is the money? It cant just be nowhere..
Also, they say it can take 3 or 4 days for the transfers to be completed. Why so long, and why is it usually 5 or 6 business days before its in the bank?

It's a saturday. Which means at the bank it's a courtesy day. It's posting as of Monday, most often. The transaction may not be complete for a few days. They sent it out, but your bank back office has yet to receive it. They probably will on Tuesday and put it as pending, then it will go from there. When the transaction finalizes it will be in your ledger balance. But before then it may be available to you (because some banks act like that is a direct deposit type situation, it just depends). But it probably won't be there until at least Tuesday.

Yes that happens. It's weird. How many days ago did you transfer the money? Normally it will take 4-5 business days to show up in your bank. The transaction is complete on PayPals end...now it just needs to show up in your bank account (trust me it will) ... same thing ALWAYS happens to me and I've been using PayPal for 5 years now!

When does PayPal say the transaction was completed? The transaction may not reach your bank until the day after PayPal 'completes' the transfer. Even then, it may not show up on-line until the morning after is posts. That could account for up to 2 business days delay. I have assumed so far PayPal is sending the funds electronically. Is it possible they actually MAILED a check? That could cost another week.

Yup, just wait a few days...plus it's the weekend.
Normally 4 business days.
