A spaghetti dinner makes a lot of money, since it's cheap, easy to make, and only needs to be accompanied by salad and bread. You can make at least a $5 profit per plate if you charge $10 per adult and $7 for kids. We sold wine glasses for $4.50-- more fat profit if you get Carlo Rossi or Two Buck Chuck. We got around not having a liquor license that way.
We used to have the dinners a couple of times a year.
Hot dog sales are also a big money maker. A hot dog with bun and condiments will cost you about $1, but can be sold for at least double that. It can be done at lunchtime.

Car wash after school for teachers at your school. If you have enough students and avail water from the schools, you could have car washes the same time at all the schools in your district...elementary schools, middle schools, votechs, high schools, administration office. The teachers would sign up, pay up front, get a tag to put on their cars that morning.
300 teachers in district x $ 5.00 = 1500 in one day.

I've heard of making the teacher kiss pigs. LOL! I'm sure that would be fun to watch! :)

For this, you could do it different ways, You have the kids in your school vote which teacher they want to kiss the pigs. And charge the kids $1.00 or $.50 or something to vote. Or, you could have each teacher kiss a pig and have the kids at your school who want to see pay $3.00 or $5.00. Then you can also sell snacks too.

Can you give us ideas of what AREN'T aloud?
