I'm a teenager, and I'm going out to a semi-formal dinner with a bunch of friends...do you have any ideas on what I should wear? If you could, can you include a picture please? Thanks a bunch!!

I'll make you an outfit. But the main idea is khakis, sweater, clogs.

Being young and all, you don't need to wear a crisp suit. just a presentable polo is nice. You can wear a long or short-sleeved polo. get a tie that goes with it, and just wear any jacket, just not the jackets you usually wear in school. wear something like this: http://www.baronboutique.com/mens_suit/velvet/mens_velvet_jacket.jpg

If you don't want that, you can wear a presentable polo and add a hard core jacker to look edgy.

If you want something cheap, don't wear a suit! it may look good on a 20 year old to a 75 year old, but not for someone young like you! Actually, it does, but ya know, you ARE young.

A nice dress and nice shoes; no flip flops or thongs. Festive purse (think glittery clutch or handbag). Sparkly jewelry.

w. the white boots not the brown ones...
also the sweater wouldnt be grey or the skirt black, just a general suggestion, and i like to kind of buck the system and be a little creative, so it might not be what you're looking for ....
but good luck finding something and have an awesome time☺

and look at the whole thing...dont freak out once you hit the t shirt

and the tights are awesome...i wore some with my fall ball dress and it looked amazing...according to me (and pretty much everyone else)

try this...it looks better all put together and its way better than the original...

I would go nice jeans (I mean nice jeans!) and a button up long sleeve shirt (or short sleeve if the weather permits). Black shoes and a black belt (or brown shoes, brown belt). Also, some cologne works wonders!
