yes, he deserves the place in tests. he and Laxman are the best players of pace bowling and he can take any attack to the opposition , when the fielders are just standing at the heads of batsman. Indians can only tackle Aussies by agression and Yuvraj is very agressive.

I think he has earned his place into the test team due to the form he had in T20 and ODI matches. He earned his test slot by merit. Eventhough the test matches are a different ball game altogether, I think its premature to say that Yuvraj is not a good test player, because he had not had enough chances to prove his worth in the test team.
He has been enjoying a purple patch in his career, and I think he deserves to be included against Aussies too. Well, atleast he needs a chance against Aussies! He has got class and form!

I strongly feel that he deserve a permanent place in Indian test team too as the more he plays he gets better experience and exposure and will be able to take the burden when the seniors retire.

Yes i agree, i have 'ALWAYS' been a supporter of Yuvraj . I want him to play in all 3 formats of the game. That guy is full of talent.
He is right now our best batsman & the man in form.
* Aggressive Attitude
*Good technique against fast bowlers
* Good track record against Australia
* Good form
* Team man
These are the reasons why he definately deserves to be in our playing 11.
Dravid may be asked to open, then Yuvraj will fit into our middlke order. Laxman has a great great great great great recod against Australia. So we can't frop him especially against Australian team. So Karthik will have to make way for Yuvi,
Cheers!!!
