Try Yahoo Games and click on Word, then scroll down to either of two crossword formats.

Another option is to log onto a newspaper site and look for their crossword or games page. The New York "Times", for example, gives free access to archived crossword puzzles at:

As an avid fan of cryptics myself, I checked out the best of the British newspapers and found that you can only download them if you pay a subscription. If you're willing to to do that, and you like cryptics, then I suggest the Times of London, The Observer, The Manchester Guardian and The Daily Telegraph.
