Try this: take a hot shower - as hot as you can for about 1 minute, then turn the water to as cold as you can for 1 minute. Do that for 8 - 10 mins. That's an old remedy for migraine headaches. If that doesn't work, find a good chiropractor.

A weird cure for a bad headache is to run your wrists under water as hot as you can stand without scalding yourself.

The ice/heat is a good combo along with gentle massage.

You can also do slow stretching - laying your head on one shoulder and dropping your other shoulder as far as you can.

when I've had a headache and sore neck i used 1000mg of calcium with at least 500mg of magnesium 2x daily. if that doesn't fix it go to a chiropractor.

Lie down in a dark, quiet room. Try this acupressure technique: squeeze and massage the fleshy part of your hand that is between your thumb and forefinger. Or take a shower.

gentle stretching. and as with all stretching, when doing one move, always do it in opposite direction after.

i refuse to use modern medicine and am a stretching addict. it is the best thing.
