he made sami a deal..sleep with me right here right now and i will save lucas... he didnt threatener her or put a gun to her head
he gave her a choice and she made it...
as of right now(.for we all know it can/could/most probably will change) he is the father of the boy and lucas is the father of the girl

It depends on one's perspective.
Lucas was stuck under the beam and Sami needed EJ to help him. The deal was that he would if Sami has sex with him. She agreed and he rescued Lucas. Not one of Sami's wisest decisions but she isn't known for her common sense anyway.
Now, if you are an Ejami fan you will think that was not rape and she was very willing because of him being the gorgeous stud that he is. If you are a Lumi fan you will vehemently declare that it was rape and completely inexcusable.
Personally, I feel it was rape because she consented under duress even if she could have found another solution.
EJ is the biological father of Johnny, the little boy twin, whom he should have absolutely no rights to since the baby is a product of rape. Lucas is still the legal father since he and Sami were married at the time of his birth and therefore, is his father on the birth certificate.
But, what am I thinking? That would be the real world.

EJ is the father of the boy, and Lucas is the father of the girl. EJ rapped Sami when Lucas was trapped in a cabin under some debris that fell when the roof caved in. Sami went to go get help and flagged down a car. It so happened to be EJ. He black mailed her and said that he would only save Lucas if she would have sex with him. She at first didn't want to, but knowing how snowy it was outside and cold, she knew that no one else was around, or it would a long time before she could flag down someone, and by then Lucas could die. He was pinned under a heavy beam. So with hesitation, she did go ahead with the deal he made with her.

I can't believe some of these answers - I know it's just a soap opera, but without a doubt what occurred between Sami and EJ was rape. If you have a loved one facing death - and the only person that is able to help them tells you "sleep with me or the person will die" - that is rape.

I agree with Cherl S. It was definatly rape. Go back and watch the episode. Lucus was trapped under a wooden beem that fell on him in a cabin that was out in the middle of nowhere (Sami and Lucus's car broke down). EJ was driving by and saw thier broken down car and stopped (He was fleeing a crime sceen where he shot John Black). He agreed to save Lucas only if Sami slept with him. And if you watch it you will see that he had a gun to her head as well. I'm sorry even if she liked him once upon a time, doesn't mean that it wasn't rape.

Part of me thinks it was rape because it was forced (EJ gave her an ultimaturm), but then again rape is associated with non-consent and Sami gave her consent to have sex with EJ.

Yes he raped her. I think the storyline with her marrying him is ridiculous. I wish they would put Sami and Lucas back together.

But i don't thing it was really a raped because when Lucas was stuck under something( i thing it was a big piece of wood). EJ told her that she had to sleep whit him because otherwise he want save Lucas. Lucas know' about the raped!!

yes he did he made sammi submit in order to help her rescue lucas. he is the father to her son lucas is the father to the daughter. which begs the question how can they be twins with two different fathers?

yes when lucas was trapped in the cabin,,, when he was escaping from shooting john he is the father of the boy and lucas is the girl go figure,, 2 fathers 2 babies one birth
