There certainly are free ones available. However, as a security professional and a tech for many years I would not recomend any of them.

Any time a user messes with the registry with a bulk program they are risking damage to their system which could cause it to simply buckle.

I do not even advise people to mess with their registry in general... not unless you have some malware infection that requires the removal of registry keys or you've improperly uninstalled a program and really need to get rid of the keys for a reinstall. Otherwise, it's simply not wise to mess with the registry ESPECIALLY when you probably didn't have the good sense to back it up first and probably don't know how to restore it even if you did.

All of the crapware you are downloading is also placing you at risk of infection from spyware, trojans and viruses (etc...)

Most likely you also have inadequate security protection in general which is further causing you issues not to mention all of the resident evil left over by all of the crapware you've installed and the damage they have probably done by whatever they did allow you to run.

I would suggest you take care of the main problem which is your need to install something you don't need and invest in a proper security suite and perhaps a reliable and qualified technician who can assist you in sorting out your computer the right way.

Good Luck

Yes, CCleaner.

If you get totally fed up with having to play with a mangled registry the whole time, and want to put the fun back into computing, then consider the upgrade to Linux. No more cleaning registries! Or viruses... or defragging... or spyware...
