It is good to hear people living in the past, say 1920's, 1930's. 1940-1950', 1950's -1970's, 1980's. 1990's-2000's , to the present.
We usualy determine the costume or fashion basing on the year they are worn.
Clothes, or fashion enhances a person or individuals personality. It means that just because that the style it would fit all individual and it would enhance a persons personality... There is always the line , print, color that would fit an individual...
Do you agree that we should always follow what is in style or the fashion of the current year....even if it would (may not....) fit
the kind of body that we have?
Do you also agree that just what an aunt did, she saw and design her own clothes.... Sometimes the design is in the 1980's or a combination of any year..... She also make a research on the internet on the designs.......

people dont write long questions cuz then no one cares. i didnt read it all but from what i did it seems like ur asking stick to nows fashion or go back a few years, stick to it now. fashion is a very delicate matter that defies popular from stuck in another year. if u want to keep the balance of then and now fashion world going smoothly then wear now fashions and please please please consider me and my thoughts becuz its people who deicde to break free from the cycle that could seriously ruin the fashion world by being a fashion destryer so stick to the flow and dont ruin the fashion world!!!

No we certainly should not! One should be able to express their individuality through fashion (where appropriate, however).

Nevetheless it can be hard to NOT be in fashion - and I do not mean "trend-setting" by this. If you need to buy a pair a pants, most likely the stores you shop at will primarily be selling the types of pants that are "in style" at the time. This is why, for the most part, people can track the passing of time /decades through their clothes...they are not necessarily trying to be stylish, but they were wearing what was available.

As long as it looks good there is nothing wrong with it - I would rather people make awesome fashion faux paus rather than wear safe clothes that don't say anything about their personalities. I can respect someone who wears something totally crazy if they know how to wear it. It is okay if someone doesn't care about fashion and wears boring clothes, but those that do care about fashion should not play on the safe side.

Personally, I have never followed fashion. I just go by what I like and what is comfortable to me.

My roommate is more into fashion and what would look good on someone, but a lot of times, I don't see what she sees.

I think it is based more on what is more important to people. You can still look nice and not be in "fashion".

I wear what i like. I judge people by what they wear. I often see people wearing stupid looking stuff because it's fashionable, and i judge them to be idiots.

My advice: don't follow fashion. You can have a look, but use your own mind to decide whether it's cool or not.
