Another stupid question...but does it mean like multiply?
For example: 3^2
so would that mean 3 multiplied by 2?
or would it mean 3 to the 2nd power? (3 times 3)?

3^2= 9

the carot ^ symbol is an old text symbol that us teckkies used before the internet was common. we used it in math programming all the time. in math its called an exponent
