What do I do if my best friend treats me badly all the time?

My friend Elle is all the time mean to me. She makes me furious. She goes out with a guy from my school that I really hate, but I approve because she's my friend and I want her to be happy. She once hated him though. Now I don't have a friend to hate him with! Elle told me on the phone, "Derrick just might not like you because you're bratty all the time! You always deny everything people ask you." I know in my heart that she's thinking I'm an ugly person; Not at all attractive and that's why she said that. What should I do with a friend like that?

Get a new friend. A fact of life is that 98% of people you meet will treat you badly. Look for stable people. Most of the time you will jump from "BFF" to "BFF" but have one true friend that has stuck with you through that, THAT person is your true best friend. Stick with them and keep on searching for the 2%, THEY'RE OUT THERE!

DUMP HER. You deserve better than that ..... Raise your self esteem - stand up for yourself - there are some very nice people in this world and life is way too short to waste time on the likes of that. What is there in your personality that you even have to ask what to do? Get rid of her.
