I would bet my bottom dollar that they would never dare say these things if we were face to face.

i think it is because they genuinely do not read the question, see a trigger word and go into rant mode...................

racist, moron, etc are quite mild....

I've been called a Noe-Nazi for posting a question that had the word immigrant in it....

the posters didn't bother to read the question or open the link they just went off on one.....

they need to get s grip really

if they are this rude to strangers imagine what they would be like if you got to know them......

they are clearly unable to express themselves without being offensive.....it is their problem, not yours.....

I will join with what someone else has said - there are many here that don't read the questions properly - as seen here already there are a couple that haven't even taken the time to read yours before responding so negatively.

Again, I will join in with another poster - when I respond or ask a question I don't expect to be issued with offensive language because of my response. When asking a question I either want a proper answer to that question or a response that would be funny and light-hearted.

I can name those here that I believe have some real issues and will use abuse/offensive language but what is the point when they also have those 'gang' members standing by to fight their corner. That appears to be the nature of News and Events - I haven't seen this happen anywhere else on YA as much.

I have read a lot worse michael but usually from the answers... Being honest and personal about the question or answer is one thing and fair play but being personal and abusive purely to the questioner is another. I respect honesty whether I agree or not but a question can be asked or answered without personal abuse just because there is no agreement... Hope that makes sense! And if I met you, I would be honest and open and hope you would be the same, without abuse or aggression...

Edit: well said Red, Leu, Adam.

Questioner is the word - one who asks a question.

A questionnaire is a list of questions, usually in a document.

But I don't think you are a cretin or a moron for spelling the wrong word wrong but in two different ways.

Michael, I've noticed more rudeness this last week than I ever have before, and not just on this forum. I think the holidays bring out the beast in some people.

I will tell you why Michael w straight up. If I ask a question on YA I expect one of two things.

1) That someone will answer the question I asked, even if I do not agree with their answer.

or

2) They remain silent.

What I do not expect is that I will be attacked personally by morons that do not know me with their opinions of my character. These are the morons (basically trolls) that I refer to. I would add that of all my questions you answer most attack me personally in some fashion - please get it into your head THAT YOU DO NOT KNOW ME.

Michael if you're honest you will admit to occasionally resorting to the same tactic yourself, i would be among the first to put my hands up, also very few on here have the self once control not to use abuse, the mild variety anyway, at least once in a while .

Expose they were living in misery with communication problems without being aware of it.
Luke 9.55-56
Why not reach out and extend them a helping hands with " He's ain't heavy, He's my brother" in near or faraway land.
In correcting the mess out there.
For the good of mankind in the creation of peace on earth goodwill to men.
Instead of nailing them to the cross.
Luke 8.10, 17
What do you think?
