I would start out using drugstore makeup. Once you get more experience applying makeup and figuring out what colors look best on you, then you can try out expensive brands.

Hi 12 year old. I use cheap and expensive makeup together.. I've found that cheap makeup is just as good as the expensive ones. It's how you apply it that will make it work.
But here is the secret. You need to use very very good cleansers, conditioners, skin toners, wash and etc. I use Mimosa to wash my face (Macy's). From Avon, Anew Ultimate creme repare & Anew Age repair Elixir. You don't need to have lines on your face to use this products from Avon. I use it now to help prevent or slow the process of lines.
So find what works for you. Makeup is expensive. How do you parents feel about you using makeup? Have you discussed it with them?
Now! How important is it that you need to use makeup at 12?
Think you'd be better off learing how to spell?

Ok so you asked:
I am twelve years old, and I wear make up. Should I buy Dior make up, or make up at the drug store?
Ok, some things you can get dior, things that will stand out... but there are some things that really have no difference in the quality, so you dont have to go all out when buying that. Brand Name make up is pricey... so just make sure to have enough money in the piggy bank for Dior.

Don't wear anything on your face...just your eyes and lips, and keep it very natural, since you are so
young. Face makeup is false face. It is never as pretty as natural clean skin with a good moisture layer with spf of at least 15. You will ruin your skin and break out and become dependent on face makeup...so DON'T use it.
not to be mean, but get mom to go to teachers supply and get you a vocabulary home school workbook and bone up on words. Read the dictionary when you are bored. Trust me.

You should buy good quality make up. Dior is too expensive, but go to a quality dept. store like Macy's or Nordstrom and check out brands like Lancome. Lancome's not cheap, but it's not too expensive and it has good quality make-up and skin care products.
Remember, it's not just the make-up that matters, but skin care, too. No amout of make-up can hide a neglected skin. It's like putting a fresh coat of paint on top of flaking paint.

First of all you should not be wearing makeup. When you do get of age you will not want to wear it. Enjoy your young look while you still have it. Please stop trying to look older it is not appealing and may attract the wrong person. You are way to young for makeup. Put it aside until you are older.

First of all - 12 years old is too young for make up. As said earlier, your question is not clear.

I don't want to be the one judging you or anything but what I would say that please be proud of your age and your looks. Enjoy the moments of childhood, you have your whole life ahead of you and your only 12.......and your worrying about makeup? You should be worrying about the results of your school tests. Honey, your young and your beautiful, don't try to be someone that your not. Embrace your looks and enjoy life.

women usually wear make-up to hide their skin-imprefection. That's what make -up is for. Otherwise, for you, I guess you want to look fresh. You can't go wrong with lip-gloss. That's all you need. I can suggest you start with skincare because that is excellent start to begin knowing and loving your skin. Good luck.
