You don't mention what year your car is, but if it's a later model, you may have inadvertently activated the valet feature on the trunk latch. Some of these were prone to accidentally moving to the lock position when the trunk was slammed.
Open the trunk with the key and check the latch to make sure it's in the unlocked position. Close the trunk gently, then try your remote again.
If it becomes a constant problem you'll need to have the latch replaced.

Check to see if your lever is locked. If it is in the locked position none will work.
