Wrestling has ups and downs like anything else. It goes in cycles, always has and always will. It could start to get better soon, but the wwe needs better writers for that to really happen. Right now they come up with something halfway good and then it goes bad. Without better writers it will not really get better overall. It is ok in spurts but thats about it right now.
Anyway the thing that makes me think it will get better is that HHH was willing to take a back seat for now. In the past he wanted the title and wanted to dominate Raw. Now he wants to help others get over, which will help get more wrestlers going.
Right now the WWE has some younger stars that will be big names soon. They just need a little more time.

1. No storylines that haven't been done before.
2. Same guys wrestling each other over and over. By the time you get to the PPV you have seen the match 5 times already.
3. No up and coming talent. Who is the next sensation? C.M. Punk? Give me a break.
4. How about a new masked man?

I understand what your saying dude.I was just reminiscing on those years today. The matches and storylines they come up with are so lame.Yes I still watch it occasionally in the hopes that it will get better.Maybe its the current wrestlers that care more on their paycheck then the whole show itself. The divas aren't wrestlers anymore just plain divas.the feuds that are made are boring and I have not seen not one TLC match yet.WWE is losing its touch.

Vince can't think of anything new.
TNA, although it is awesome, has terrible booking. Anyone else get confused when Sting was feuding with Judas Mesias and Kurt Angle and nobody knew who the Hell he was going to face at the PPV?

Don't talk about boring these days.
If you have been seeing RAW, SmackDown!, and ECW you could notice how good is getting.
I mean we have Edge, Jericho, and the Undertaker back healthy.
ECW has CM Punk, Shelton Benjamin (One of the greatest athletes on wrestling), and John Morrison.
RAW has Randy Orton who is the future of the business along with Mr. Kennedy, and we now have Chris Jericho who one of the greatest everrrr.
And SmackDown!, they have Rey Mysterio a great performer and high flyer, Edge who is one of the greatest too, and the UNDERTAKER!!!

i do no longer believe age has something to do with it. i'm fifty one and that i've got been staring at wrestling for 40-one years. staring at 2 experienced properly-knowledgeable wrestlers against one yet another is merely as eye-catching and thrilling to me now because it grow to be 40-one years in the past. i think of the venture is two-fold. one million. there is no "smoke and mirrors", not greater secrets and strategies, no kayfabe. all of us understand they're merely "performing" out a script, no longer likely competing against one yet another. 2. The emphasis on storylines and skits the previous various years has extremely taken removed from the actual wrestling tournament itself. with the aid of fact of that concentration on storylines actual wrestling skills are no longer likely needed anymore. To make it in the WWE performing skills, public talking skills, and the excellent "look" are greater substantial than wrestling skills. The paintings of wrestling isn't misplaced; you will locate many relatively-experienced mat technicians toiling away in the indys, no longer able to get a foot in the WWE door with the aid of fact they're the two "too small" or have not got the excellent "look". Vince needs those with the excellent "look" and length he can develop into caricature superheroes and supervillains to play the characters of their from time to time very cartoonish storylines. regrettably, to get and save their national television deal TNA has been compelled to stay with that comparable formulation. TNA has some very experienced wrestlers yet they have been form of pushed into the history to make room for the "WWE" variety of storylines. WCW grow to be domicile to countless very experienced wrestlers, the place the excellent "look" grow to be much less substantial than in-ring expertise (a minimum of till Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo took over). The WWF had to grant wrestling of that high quality to stay previous to WCW. yet, as you're saying, as quickly as WCW (the WWE's very final opposition) grow to be long previous, the WWE no longer had to latest experienced wrestlers and that they'd concentration on storylines and skits, and enable their wrestling go through. evidence? Why has the WWE no longer tried to locate the subsequent Bret Hart? Or Eddie Guerrero? Or Chris Benoit? answer: they do no longer ought to. once you get bored stiff in the WWE's alternatives, attempt TNA, or ROH if it is accessible on your area. If no longer, bypass to youtube and dailymotion and watch wrestling from Japan and Mexico. there continues to be countless great wrestling occurring worldwide extensive. The WWE isn't the be-all end-all of wrestling.
