you have a plugged nozzle, take a pin and poke it through the nozzle holes where it comes out onto the windshield and if that doesn't work make sure when you press the washer button you hear the washer motor running and if you don't you will have to replace the washer motor, if the motor is running you will have to unhook the hose from it and if you have an air compressor blow air through the water line to clear it of any foreign material.

RE:
Car windshield washer isn't spraying.....?
There are still windshield washers left in my car but when i hit the switch, it doesn't spray any fluid. Does anyone know what is wrong with it? How to fix it?

First you need to test the washer fluid electric pump is working by unhooking the rubber tubing from the metal nozzle at the windshield and hit the switch, if there is fluid spraying then your problem is the clogged nozzle. After you unclog the nozzle by using a fine needle, then it should work again.

Check to see if you have any fluid in the hold tank. If not fill and try again. If it is full it may be a clogged line. Or the pump itself may be bad and needs replaced. And the final deal would be the in line fuse. Check all your fuses too.

Well, if you are sure there is still fluid in the reservoir, then check the lines to make sure they are connected. Also, check the small holes where the fluid comes out (near the wipers, on the hood). If they have any gunk, use a straight pin or other small, sharp object to clean them out.

jeez, if we knew what kind of car it was, maybe we could help you. Some have a plunger pump built into the wiper motor, some have a separate electric pump..
if the wipers still work, then it is not the fuse...(some people will guess on that)
