and threw it to Wales, and it travelled at 65 mph.......whats the chances of it hitting Welshy in the face before it melts?
I'm in Yorkshire if that helps you with your sums...........

You did not specify if you intended throwing the 'Snowball' in the cold winter months or in the warmer summer months. To get an accurate calculation you should also take in to consideration the launching angle, the weight and if you intend to spin the snowball in flight. Certainly, if a projectile speed of 65 mph could be maintained, during a winter month throw, there is no doubt it would arrive in mid Wales, still in a semi frozen state, however, it would be in a very 'slushy' state as it reaches the Cardiff boundary. If the flight continued it would have completely melted by the time it crossed over the Bristol Channel. My advice is not to attempt the throw during the summer months, or, on a sunny winters day.
Good Luck, take aim and fire !

I can't honestly believe you expect a serious mathematical answer to such a ridiculous question.......you have given no location for where in Yorks or where "Welshy"?? is in ....Wales.......no weight of the snowball or even size, so that the weight may be calculated.....the power of your throw, how strong you are, if the wind is with you.....lots of things.....technical things that are needed to calculate the ,,,,,,,answer......hmmmm......yes, we can see it's downhill.....(well, isn't everything from Yorkshire) (that's a compliment , dude)......so without all the necessary weights and measures, I would say without a fear of a doubt that , yes, it is a definite maybe........(who the hell is Welshy any way??........ :-s)

Aw if you throw one at my Welshy mate i'd throw one at you,you are closer to me than you are to her, so my chances of hitting my target are better than yours.
