Just went through this with my kids. Start by taking all the paper off and then take a small bucket or large pot and fill with HOT water and dish soap. Wash with a "scratchy" type sponge and then let it dry. If you see any glue left, use a white rag/cloth with nail polish remover and lightly wipe off any remaining glue. The soap and water won't hurt the paint on the walls but the nail polish remover might make the area treated a little lighter in color. For our wall, it was only a small spot that wouldn't come off and the "fading" was hardly noticeable but try to get as much as you can with the soap and water first. The hot water should help dissolve most of it. Good luck!

Depends on the type of glue.... try steam or very very hot water (hold a super hot washcloth against the glue until it softens) to melt the glue. Nail polish remover (acetone) might work. If you get most off but some sticky residue is left try orange oil or a product called Goo Off that you can get at the hardware store. Good luck!

FInd out if the glue is water soluble and if it is just spray the wall down well with warm water. You could also try wall paper stripping solution, or dish soap and warm water in a spray bottle.

If you used Elmers glue just rip it off. Scratch of the excess.
If you used any other kind of glue, use the product GooGone.
If it still is there use peanut butter.
