why can't you form a proper sentence

The good news is just not that plentiful, or that interesting. Besides, they can track down the bad news by asking the police what is going on and reading their reports and waiting for people to complain about things. So - if there were good-deed police out there making sure people were being credited with the good they do - you might see some of the juicy details on the 6-o-clock news!

If it were all good news all the time people would think everything was OK and feel no need to watch the news. Then the ratings would drop.

Bad news have more sensationalism and people get more interested in banal events like earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, wars and so on, than get interested in nice things.
People, in general, have a morbid taste.

Would you watch the news if it was coverage of rainbows and puppies? We have become anesthetized by the constant onslaught of the bloodbath we've become. We eagerly anticipate mass murder, war, famine and disaster of any sort. That's what sells.
And that is so very sad.

there are lots of good news. only that the reporters are making negative news as sensational as possible to make them sale-able. and it will be a big point to them if their newspapers will sell more.

there is a local station that has good news on it but mostly becasue there is NO good news its just violence and wars and death
