DON'T ANYONE SAY DYSON! I own a dyson and it sucks (yellow). It hardly has any sucking power at all. It was fine at first but I used a cheaper one when I was helping clean my brothers house and it did so much better. As for a Kirby it's price is way out there if I'm going to pay that much for a vacum I should be able to drive it to work. I'm looking for a bagless I thought the more you pay the better, like not. So which is the best to go with ( NO DYSON OR KIRBY)

Hoover is a good built vac. Dyson. arecheap plastic and wayyyyyyyyyyyyy over priced, you got thast right,,I have a Kirby and was given to me and I love it, but would never pay that price for it, It should last 50 yrs !! I would go with the hoover.

Simplicity is the best I think on the market right now. It is made in the USA and is durable and has good filtering system. Attachments are on board and is light weight. I use one in my own home. I clean offices for my brother cleaning business and we use a Simplicity. affordable too

taylee answer is good too. Kirby's are a good vacuum. My grandmother owned one. The only thing is they are heavy hard to push. The Kirby is low maintenance hardly breaks down.

After watching the infomercials for months I finally decided on the Oreck. I figured what did I have to lose since I could return it if I wasn't satisfied. Well after 2 years now You would have to fight me for it. It wasn't cheap, just under $ 400 but it is well worth it.

I have 2 Kirbys and I LOVE my Kirby vacuums. It does all kinda of things that most won't. They are hella expensive but I love mine and wouldn't trade them for ANYTHING!!!

Miele vaccum cleaners are very good, I own one which is extremely powerful, nearly sucked the curtains down.

I've had my Kirby for 15yrs. I've had no problems with it at all!!!.:)
Oh and it's heavy for a reason,because it was built to last.
