On myspace I was reading a bulletin of a survey a 15 year old sophomore in high school had filled out and one of the questions said "What do you spend the most money on" and she said alcohol

shes not lying shes been drunk and had a threesome and she lost her virginity when she was drunk and around here when you go to parties you pay the person who supplies the alcohol its not like she goes to a store and buys it

Yeah. Nobody should be spending most of their money on alcohol. But it's not pathetic. She just is probably unhappy.

she's probably lying. alcohol isn't that easy for minors to constantly obtain so much that they would spend a majority of their budget on it. what a lame.

The underlying message there is something is most likely dysfunctional at home IF its not just a made up story, which could be the case too...i.e. abuse, neglect, etc...

That is sad! Unfortunately, for this kid, it's probably also accurate. It'll be very hard for him to stop because he's probably got this notion in his head that getting drunk is 'kewl'.
