It will never be enough $$. They pay union dues so they expect the union to come up with something new otherwise why pay them. Once they get what they want it will be something else they demand 2 years from now. losers

I have no idea why people making the money that writers, actors, and athletes need unions for and how they can justify a strike. GREED is all it is. Regardless, the strike is not bothering me in the least. I rarely watch any network programing. Most of the shows i watch are on the History channel, Discovery channel and the such and not affected by the strike.

I think they have a legitimate complaint. If you write a book you are paid for each copy sold no matter when it is sold, but the writers are paid one time and then the producers are allowed to resell the product of those writers - their book, so to speak - and make a profit on the efforts of others. Perhaps their contracts should have allowed for that but since it didn't, they now have to demand that in current and future contracts. It is interesting that these producers would never steal from a department store but see no problem stealing from the people who make their money in the first place, their writers.

Makes me mad. Heroes ended their 2nd season two episodes earlier than planned. There are reruns of a lot of shows. I mean, what happened..did they all of a sudden not get paid enough money? I'd like to get paid whatever they get.

I hate it, but it does show how weak our society is. I mean who thought that we were so dependent on television. Too bad it takes this to realize how terrible reality television is.
