Rnd is shorthand for round. It is found in patterns done circularly (like socks, mittens/gloves, ponchos, etc).
Depending on what precedes the shorthand, it tells you what you're doing with that round (i.e. Rep Rnd 22-24 - repeat rounds 22-24).
