Although when I was about 10 my parents started saying things like, "I got this at Macy's, oh I mean SANTA did..." I still like to believe in the spirit of Christmas. Even if there is no jolly old man who lives in the North Pole with all the elves, I love the happiness that is everywhere this time of year.

I was five when I stop believing in Santa, according to my mom. She also told me that I used to be super excited about Santa when I believe in him.
As an adult, I am not sure if it's a bad thing to lie to a kid about Santa. But, hey, Maybe it's just a fun thing to do. Like the tooth fairy.
Of course, I will never forget how excited my grandpa was to see my uncle play Santa. My grandpa had Alzheimer's disease and it was so sweet to see him being like a kid. I really think he thought my uncle was Santa (even though my uncle is really tall and skinny). So.. in the end I like the concept of Santa.

I remember at school when Santa came to visit and me thinking, "Wow, out of all the places in the world, Santa is actually here in my school and he's going to ask ME what I want for Christmas". That was so astounding.
I wonder what became of him.

i did ...coz i was raised as a christian and we all the time celebrated xmas and i did believe there was santa ...
coz each night before xmas we would make wishes and morning of xmas ...we would run down stairs and straight to the Xmas Tree to check on the gifts ,thinking those gifts came from the Santa( North pole) .... it was funn and
now i'am raising a son who is 7 years old and he believes too ,
that there is Santa , so you can imagine how good is trying to be ...
hoping Santa gets him a very big and expensive gift for him ,since he 's been as good as he is ...... lol
Its just what we've always done & since i believe in the God & Bible.... christmas is a special day ....

I sure did. I loved the idea of the North Pole and the elves and flying reindeer. When my friends told me there was no Santa, I didn't let my parents know because I was afraid the presents would dry up. You've got to keep up appearances, you know.
