I think South Africa was the most recent country to legalize it. As the rest of the world becomes more progressive to the issue and change will inevitably happen, what countries do you think will next legalize it? Are there any countries you know of close to allowing it now? --Thanks

I agree on France and England. I think in England they allow civil unions for gay couples that are practically identical to marriage; they just haven't called it that specifically

Most civilized, educated countries will as time goes on. America won't until we can renounce theocracy as a method of government.

Or as Romney says: "Religion doesn't interfere in my politics and I will veto any bill for gay marriage".

Countries can only legalize civil unions.
Marriage requires a man & woman to pro-create children.
It's a religious sacrament witnessed by the Church.

I think, at this juncture in time, it would be GREAT if some remote Islands would declare themselves THE GAY ISLANDS and...........you know the rest. Geez.
