I didn't like the movie either.
I thought "Beowulf and Grendel" that was released onto dvd earlier this year was a much better story. And easier on the eyes since I didn't like the cartoon feel of this one.

It was not as great as the commercials made it to be, but was good. I think the only thing i would have to say was good the was the plot of the tragedy and the fact that every guy that saw the movie was so liking the fact that Angelina Jolie was naked the whole time. She was only covered by a thin layer of gold, so sexy!! lol. it had funny parts, i thought, like when his right hand man kept asking,"do you want me to go in with you?" Funny!!

Another movie about that same story, 'Beowulf and Grendle', is much more thought provoking and challenges stereotypes. I think the computer animated movie was more like a comic book.
