You should watch To Kill a Mocking Bird. Pride and Prejudice is not about racial prejudice. You could also watch Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe.

That movie is not a good choice only because it's not about what it sounds like. "The story is based on Jane Austen's novel about five sisters - Jane, Elizabeth, Mary, Kitty and Lydia Bennet - in Georgian England. Their lives are turned upside down when a wealthy young man (Mr. Bingley) and his best friend (Mr. Darcy) arrive in their neighborhood." A really good movie to show would be Roots, it's actually a mini series from the 1970's about slavery.

Does it have to be a movie....?
If this is a contest, try to think "outside the box"
Everybody is going to do the movie thing
Check out this on line:

libraryhttp://www.questia.com/library/sociology-and-anthropology/social-issues/discrimination-and-prejudice/prejudice.jsp

They have free on line articles as well as other resources
If it has to be a movie, then try to do a key word search, and find one that isn't the first one everybody else is going to do too.....who knows....you could even learn something!
Good Luck!

American History X. This movie is about racial prejudice in modern america but contains some violence and foul language so you might want to discuss this with your instructor first. Basically, it's a movie about the leader of a white supremacist group who goes to jail for killing two blacks, and when he comes out, he's reformed, but his little brother has followed in his racist footsteps and he has to try to get him to stop. meanwhile, the little brother is assigned (by his black principal) to write a paper about his big brother and why he went to jail.

Even if you can't watch it in school, still worth seeing if you have some spare time.

I think one of Shakespeare's plays would work best like Romeo and Juliet or Othello.

Though if you live in Britain should not be too hard to gain some inspiration, do you agree people over here have lots of prejudices.

Whenever you chose subject for your school work; always find something you like to write about, and better still know lots about, especially when it comes to exams later on.

Crash, any movie like Schindler's List (although my parents had me watch that when I was 12), Rosewood. Are all good movies dealing with prejudice.

The movie I think would be good would be The Siege with Annette Benning, Denzel Washington, and Bruce Willis. The story is about a problem in New York with Terrorist attacks so they declare martial law. Anyone with a Muslim heritage is placed in 'camps' and locked up. Very much like what we did to American Japanese during WW2. Good Movie.
