Julia Roberts ! ..... (am I vain ???) ....
But I'm not sure how well she would cope with the earlier part of my life ?
Actually I think she would cope way way better than any actress I've seen play the transgendered / transitioning role ... and I can think of quite a few !
If I had to be played by a male actor then no contest .... Lee Pace .... (just check out "Soldier's Girl" where he played Calpernia Addams .... TS girlfriend of murdered GI Barry Winchell .... murdered by fellow soldiers because of being seen as gay !).
Oh .... and if it were to be a TS actress look no further than Almodovar ..... Antonia San Juan (Todo Sobre mi Madre ) or Bibi Andersen (need I say more :-) ) !!!!

I like the idea of Johnny Depp playing me,...but would admit that Hilary Swank is a more realistic choice :o)
