No poetry is not Haram, Please do not listen to these people. Even singing is not haram. I remember, more of a story, i do not remember the actual hadith but look it up. It was that the prophet said that singing is fine until accompanied by string instruments. Something like that. But ask an imam or some one at that level. And I just want to note that i thought it was funny that DZ said women were haram. lol Women are not Haram. I know what he meant, but just how he said it. Also the Judas guy is Atheist. just sayin.

Yes, all the time. Chamber the Cartridge by Rise Against makes me really hyped and energetic, happy. But when I hear Nothing to Lose by Billy Talent, I get really sad and depressed.
