People like to throw mud at everyone; not just Clinton. It's fun for them, and takes the focus off of their own screwed up lives.

America has Freedom of Speech (Expression) , though in some other areas, like Equal opportunity for Women in the political arena , it is still very much lagging. But most American women have learn to cope up and even frown if any of their gender raise its head above the rest. So it may be said a brave effort is being made by Hillary Clinton. If she succeeds, nothing succeeds like success. It may usher in more aspirants for the highest Office of the land, though very few may make it. If she goes down in the race, yet she will be remembered as a pioneer in decades to come by Historians. But surely the path is being cleared for future probables like Condoliza Rice.

“People are not attacking me because I’m a woman. They’re attacking me because I’m ahead.” Hillary Clinton stated in the Las Vegas debate.
I'm not sure if she's right though. The personality characteristics that seem to bother people are better tolerated in men. Strong women often are called the "b" word.

There are a lot of people who genuinely disagree with her. Respectfully, I am one of them. It makes us even more uncomfortable that she has practically been coronated without the benefit of an election on many news outlets. It scares us to death.
For the record, I am in favor of a woman president. Condoleeza Rice would be FANTASTIC!

People are scared of change and having a women in charge makes insecure men and women uncomfortable.
Plus, she is a Clinton and people have forgotten how awesome the 90's were under Bill, they just remember that he liked BJs.

Well because she is different, she is a she. So because she is a she moving herself up people bash it and make ***** claims because they're not giddy like their mamas. Republicans and male democrats seem to be feeding off people being uncomfortable with a woman of authority. Notice how in the debates they go after her like a gang of dogs. Anyone smell fear?

She is shrill, duplicitous hypocritical and invites mud and criticism, so to NOT criticize would be rude.
If you think there has been mudslinging so far from member's of her own party...... you ain't seen nothing yet if she gets the nomination.

That's campaigning nowadays. Can't talk about the issues, can we. We have to malign people for their personal lives which may or may not factor into their decisions.

There is a difference between throwing mud, and identifying the mud that is already there.
