you may desire to examine "The consumer-friendly varieties of the religious existence" by potential of Emile Durkheim, or "modern-day guy in seek of a Soul" by potential of vehicle Jung, or perhaps "The Over Soul" by potential of Ralph Waldo Emerson. Religions developed over the years, as cultures did. some religions are greater developed than others. i could say Catholicism and Anglicanism are the main developed psychological religious structures interior the west. i think of Mormonism is the main sensible and existence putting forward western religions. Fundementalism, Evangelism and "holy curler" christians are communities I carry in contempt. they are anti-psychological and regressive. Mainstream black christianity is the worst of the western religions. They, ordinarily, have not have been given any psychological depths and their raucous amenities are only approximately a mix of african traditions and christianity. I studied Buddhism and understand components of it. i think of any westerner who's a buddhist is superb a pose. The essence of Buddhism is the extinguishment of the self, and in ordinary terms jap concept. you will in no way locate greater self-conscious human beings as western buddhists. They use it as a snob ingredient, to split themselves from what they see as crass and ignorant american subculture.
