I liked their songs but sometimes they were a little too much histrionic for my taste.

and KISS???? what about them? or any of the new rap (so called) artists. Isnt that why you go on stage....to perform. Yes Freddy Mercury was a bit flamboyant (not as much as Liberace) but what artist isnt. you obviously have never performed.

Yes, but I think you only asked that question because you accidentally stumbled on "histrionic" in the dictionary a few weeks ago and have been dying to use it since! Well I found it it 20 years ago, when I was 7, and I own the copyright!

Of course. Have you ever seen their videos?

Freddie Mercury loved drama and he was the Queen!

Their concerts stages were very dramatic and the music sets were always staged for show.

It's part of what made them who they were.

Drama was a good part of who they were. Freddie was flamboyant in his life and his music. I loved their music and it will live forever. Some of their songs are as popular today as when they sang them. "We are the Champions" comes to mind. The world watched while great people died of the hideous disease we know as AIDS.

"Queen" is another name for a histrionic, effeminate gay man, and the name for their band is not a coincidence.

Queen rocks. They have an awesome and unique sound. I guess you wouldnt like them if you like hearing the same-old same-old all the time.

I loved Queen. Wish they were still OUT there with power ballads and big sounds.
