For those who don't know: Uglydolls are a collection of designer toys created by independent toy designers David Horvath and Sun-Min Kim. Uglydolls were first released in 2002, and are distinguished by an aesthetic that balances traditional cuteness with ugliness. In 2006, Uglydolls were awarded the Specialty Toy of the Year award by the Toy Industry of America. There have been appearances of human size Uglydolls at various events and even on tv shows! Also Uglydoll conventions!! As already mentioned, various sizes and types of these dolls are available on the internet and lots of information is on the official website. Maybe you could contact them and ask for a list of stores in your area if you want to buy the dolls in person at a store rather than from an internet vendor?
