i love porridge anyway it comes but i do like it thick made with milk and cream, and a sprincling of sugar or some banana slices in it

I prefer thick Porridge as well, but Honey or Jam goes well to add a bit of flavour and sweetness to it. I have never tried Golden Syrup with Porridge. Actually it sounds quite nice so I will give it a try one day.

Scottish porridge is the ONLY porridge. It's so good, I can and have, eaten it for my tea. Only thing better that I can say without getting a CoCV is a nice roast bubblejock, with all the trimmings. yum yum.

I love porridge with cold milk and golden syrup. However at the moment I can't buy it here in Spain because it's so expensive to import due to the bad summer in the U.K. and the fact the farmers are switching crops to oil seed rape - weetabix just isn't the same!

I love porridge- not too thick, with single cream and soft brown sugar sprinkled on top.

Yummy porridge, nice and thick...never had it with cream though..........Only trouble is it gives me terrible acid.

I just love ready brek. I ate it has a kid. Nice and thick with sugar, mmmmmm it's making my mouth water now. I'll have to have some in the morning.
