Hm, alright. So my boyfriend is 18, and he's pretty much like the all around fun loving guy. He's not really into sports and stuff, so that's out of the picture. I wrote him a poem which I'm also planning to gift to him for Christmas, but I need something to go along with it. I was wondering if a cute teddy bear or something would be a bad idea. How do guys feel about getting stuffed animals?

well if a stuffed animal is out of the question, do you have any ideas of what to get him? He's extremely sensitive not into all the 'guy stuff' and he pretty much has anything i can think of. i just want something simple and sweet.

Not every guy is into stuffed toys.
What types of things does he like and is he into? You mentioned he doesn't like most guy stuff so what does he like? Surely he has mentioned some interests at some point.
Does he like to read, watch movies, listen to music, play video games? Does he like to eat? If so, bake his favorite cookies. Is there anything he has mentioned he would like to have but hasn't bought for himself?

Ugh. I think stuffed animals are horrible gifts for guys. Think about where he'd keep it. On his bed? Will he take it to college and put it his dorm room? I get what you're going for: something that's sort of comforting and shows your affection. Maybe try a sweater or a hoody instead? Or you could knit or crochet him a scarf.
A cd or a book are also great gifts for guys. If he's into video games, there's always that.
Good luck shopping. Merry Christmas.

Attached the poem to a picture frame with a picture of you in it.
It's cool that you wrote a poem.
I wish I was able to write a creative poem. Merry Christmas!

Hey, he's an 18-year-old guy. No, they don't generally want stuffed animals. Why not give him something he could actually use, like a shirt, a movie/video game/book/CD he wants, or making him some food he loves?
The poem's a nice gift, though. :)

It's from you, his girlfriend,... so it might be okay. I personally wouldn't want to get a stuffed animal because I would have nowhere to put it and it would be a pain to carry around as I move from place to place. That's me however... what you need to ask is... Is this something that matches him. Not all guys are the same.

Personally i think it's more guys that give girls stuffed animal to the girl. But it all depends on the guy. You could get him a gift card from his favourite store or if he doesn't play sports he must have some sort of hobbies you could get something to do with that. Or you could take him to a night at (restaurant, movie..) and treat him to it.
Hope this helps

I think it's cute, but then again I'm not like most guys. I really think it depends on his personality. And just because sports related things are out doesn't mean everything else is out. Think of something else that he likes, I'm sure you can find something good that suits his interests.
