ahh those were the times , do you remember we used that very dress for curtains, a bedspread, two table cloths and our 12 kids first outfits and with the extra material i made me and you matching pimp attire.....ahh the love we share will never die

I actually found mine on Craigslist as well. Our photographer dropped off the face of the earth 4 days before our wedding, so we had to rush to find someone. I found a photographer who charged by the hour, so we hired him for three hours. We paid $300, got around 600 photos back, and couldn't be happier. While I agree photography is important, you most certainly do not have to spend thousands to get good photos. It's odd that people think you can only get quality photos if you hire a professional and spend a ton of money. It's simply not true. Every photographer has to start somewhere, and I have seen some amazing photos from students and people just getting started in their careers. You can check Craigslist, check your local schools, and just ask around.

No, I don't really like to look at wedding pictures, I do it out of courtesy for the person showing them.
